What isn't boring, however, but alarming, is the slavering capitalists who want to use AI to cut their workforces, as you noted. As someone who makes my living writing and editing, I can already see a souped-up ChatGPT with a Grammarly add-on being pushed as an alternative to my labor. And I've already heard of one writer having his job cut, so instead of writing articles he's now reduced to editing (fixing) AI-generated copy for reduced pay.
